No se declaró la nulidad del fallo T-280/98 proferido por la Corte Constitucional, toda vez que en numerosos autos esta Corporación ha estimado que la nulidad de una sentencia de una Sala de Revisión de la Corte Constitucional sólo se da en ocasiones extraordinarias y especiales.
Y sólo excepcionalmente las sentencias de revisión pueden ser revocadas por la Sala Plena, en el hipotético caso de que ellas modifiquen la jurisprudencia de la Corte.
